Oct 22nd:
In my first week of my Personal development I needed understand how to use Blender properly, often the most recommended way to do this is a Blender tutorial by a Youtube Creator called 'Blender Guru'. He has a 23 part long playlist showing how to make a donut.
So, I set out to start my journey of making my donut, in my first session of creating I got through 5 parts of his tutorial each one progressively teaching you more about the software. He has a big emphasis on shortcuts which is good because it makes using the programme a LOT more fluid which is very good.
Overall I've got several skills under my belt I 100% can improve and still have a lot to learn about them but i'd say I now have a basic knowledge of meshes, modifying properties and sculpting.
At the moment my Donut has taken form with some icing on it. For a first attempt at making something in blender in what feels like forever I think i'm doing ok, although I know I have a long way to go.
At the end of this weeks progress the one big thing I hope have is that by next week the shortcuts and knowledge has not been forgotten. I just need to make sure that I persevere and keep going.
